🎯 Problem

The traditional notarization process in Switzerland is slow, manual, and heavily paper-based creating friction for legal professionals and clients alike. The eNotary Project seeks to streamline this workflow by building a secure, digital-first solution that meets national regulatory standards while improving speed, trust, and accessibility.

🛠️ Challenge

By the end of this hackathon, we aim to deliver a working prototype of our eNotary platform complete with secure authentication, digital signatures, and tamper-evident document handling. The exact feature set of the MVP will be shaped during the event.

Join us for a weekend hackathon where we’ll develop a secure and blazing-fast notary software prototype tailored to Swiss digital standards. This app aims to revolutionize how documents are notarized — with verified logins, QES-certified signatures, and immutable records.

Upload + sign PDF documents through a double opt-in flow
Simulated notarization using tamper-proof technology
Export notarized, watermarked copies locally & to the registry

👩‍💻 Roles We’re Looking For:

Fullstack Developer: Build the document flow — from login to notarization
PDF & Signing Wizard: Implement signing flow and watermarking features
Security Hacker: Handle document immutability and data protection logic
UI/UX Designer: Design a clean, trustworthy experience for legal professionals
